“Converting our loss of people and situations into expansion requires great courage and a commitment to a sustainable healing process. We have to go into the fire for as long as we need to transmute the suffering into gold. This means staying with our feelings until they are truly done with us, no matter how uncomfortable it is.
It also means being careful not to confuse analysis of ourselves with healing. There is a difference between “I know why this came into my life” and a an awareness of “I feel why this came into my life”. Unless your knowing arises from your “felt” experience, its meaningless. Stay with the emotional process until your “soul food” is digested. It will be difficult at times, but the feelings will only hurt until they transform. Once they make it all the way through to the light at the end of the tunnel, the lesson takes root and we are once again transformed to higher consciousness. Divine healing at its best.” Jeff Brown An Uncommon Bond
This is exactly how I coach my clients when healing from the pain of a loss, rejection and disappointment. Its all about getting out of our head into the feeling center, staying there until we “get it”, learning our lessons, and raising to higher consciousness. I love this description! Thanks Jeff!
